OBJECTIVE
I am a highly trained VFX/Animation professional with 22+ years experience. I’m always motivated to learn new skills, and implement creativity using professional and technical applications such as Houdini/Solaris, Nuke, Maya, Unreal, Unity and Photoshop. I have extensive experience in Digital Intermediate sessions for large scale movies/projects. I enjoy teamwork, success and the opportunity to learn from my colleagues. My primary objective is to work in an environment that will allow me to demonstrate my artistic and technical skills at the highest level, and to learn from new challenges and opportunities.
ASSISTANT STEREO SUPERVISOR - MARVEL
Approval and noting of vendor stereoscopic shots for MCU movies such as Shang Chi, Eternals and Spiderman - No Way home. Version tracking for VFX and non-VFX shots to match 2D and 3D. DI sessions for color grading, SDL checks, EDR checks and format QC's with Deluxe, IMAX and others. Assisted both 2D and 3D versions of each film to make sure color grade and all VFX between both 2D and Stereo was consistent.
LIGHTING/COMP/STEREO ARTIST - BLUE SKY STUDIOS
Lighting sequences and shots using Houdini (Solaris) via USD and proprietary software. Compositing shots in Nuke. Setting up digital cameras for stereoscopic renders, handling treatment and final compositing of mono/stereoscopic images for multiple sequences, debugging software tools to facilitate the lighting, compositing and stereoscopic workflow.
TRAINER/SR. ARTIST - STEREO D
Responsibilities include training all new employees in Stereo D processes: pipeline, production and artistic. Create multi-layered depth-mattes, produced stereo comps and stereo paint for 3D conversion on live-action films using Nuke and proprietary software.
STEREO ARTIST - SONY PICTURES IMAGEWORKS
Created 2D/stereoscopic shots based on in-progress and final lighting using Imageworks proprietary software similar to Shake, Nuke and Maya.
ASSISTANT MANAGER/ASSISTANT TECHNICAL DIRECTOR - DISNEY ANIMATION STUDIOS
[Assistant Manager - Talent Development] Coordinated studio tours for new hires, managed/mediated/coordinated the Production Council*, managed and streamlined the Educational Enhancement program, managed and enhanced apprentice/mentor programs within the studio.

[Assistant TD - Lighting/Compositing, Animation, Layout Finaling] Created and debugged CG shots using proprietary Disney software, Shake and it’s associated plug-ins, Maya, etc. in a Linux environment. Built/debugged shots for Layout, Animation and Shot Final departments. Worked throughout the newly created CG pipeline and helped streamline scripts and shots as the pipeline evolved.
